Is English important for an individual in your
country?
Yes, I think it is very important for an individual to
know English or other languages, because in our country tourism is very
important. Many people come for vacations to enjoy specially nature and all the
animals, like Monte Verde, Guanacaste, San Carlos and others.
When an individual knows others languages, he can work
in many places, and many doors will open! Like call centers and natural
reservations, places like that.
In Costa Rica there are many hotels, and companies
that require, you speak specially English very well and they offer more money
for that.
I think the English one day in the future will be a
need, something like math.
